Data protection

As the operator of the web site of www.star-hungary.hu, STAR Hungary Kft. (hereinafter: Service Provider) applies the following data retention rules on the shell of the web site of www.star-hungary.hu and in the performance of related activities:
- Act LXIII of 1992 on the Protection of personal data and the publicity of data of public interest;
- Act CXIX of 1995 on the retention of name and address data used for the purpose of research and direct business acquisition
- Act VI of 1998 on the Protection of individuals
- Act XLVIII of 2008 on the Fundamental conditions and certain limits of economic advertising activity.

Service Provider reserves the right to change this guide, naturally, it will notify the affected parties about such changes in due time.
Should the User have any questions to which this guide does not give a clear answer, please put the question to the Service Provider, and we will answer it.
Definitions:

    * personal data means any data that may be related to any specified (identified or identifiable natural personal (affected person), the conclusion that may be drawn from the data and relates to the affected person. In data retention personal data shall retain this capacity as long as their relationship to the affected person can be restored. A person shall be considered especially identifiable if he or she can be - directly or indirectly - identified based on name, ID, furthermore, one or more factors characterizing his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity;
* consent: voluntary and specific expression of the wish of the affected person, which is based on appropriate information, and by which that person gives his or her unmistakable consent for the retention of the data that apply to him or her, fully, or applying to certain operations;
* custodian of data: that natural person, legal person or unincorporated entity who or which defines the purpose of the retention of the data, makes and implements the decision on data retention (including the applied tool), or arranges for its implementation through a data processing agent engaged by him;
* data retention: regardless of the applied procedure, any operation or a series of operations performed on data, including but not limited to the collection, taking, recording, assortment, storage, change, utilization, forwarding, publication, alignment or linking, blocking, deletion and destruction of data and prevention of further utilization of data.
* data forwarding: making the data available to a specified third party;
* deletion of data: rendering of the data unrecognisable to an extent that makes their restoration no longer possible;
* data processing: performance of the technical tasks related to data retention operations, regardless of the method and tool used for the performance of the operations or the place of application;
* third person: such natural or legal person or unincorporated entity, who or which is not identical with the custodian of data or the data processing agent;

1. User consents that the Service Provider may retain his or her personal and special data. The Service Provider declares that it shall treat all data, confidential information and facts provided by the User confidentially. However, the Service Provider reserves the right if the suspicion of misuse of service or the suspicion of any other crime is raised against the User, it may transfer the personal data of the User to the competent authorities.

User agrees that his or her data, name, address and e-mail address and other data provided upon registration may be retained beyond the 30th day as well, until withdrawn.

2. The Service Provider provides an opportunity for its Users to delete the data stored about them and simultaneously, their registrations for the given report letter service.

3. The data shall not be used for any other purpose without the provision of the express written approval of the affected person.

4. Only the authorized staff of the Service Provider may inspect the User data. The Service Provider shall not disclose the personal data stored about the Users (including e-mail address) to any third party.

The Service Provider advises the User that the User shall be responsible for the genuineness of the supplied personal data. If the User supplies false data or provides the personal data of another person, the affected person may suffer damage because of that and may initiate a procedure under civil law, penal law or a misdemeanour procedure.

5. Participation in the site of the page is voluntary. The Service Provider obliges itself to apply no sanctions against Users who reject non-obligatory data submission.

6. The Service Provider shall ensure that the utilization of the data obtained from the Users through its services shall comply with the rules of law in force in Hungary at all times.

7. The Service Provider undertakes that it shall not send any letter on any topic to the e-mail addresses provided by the Users in registration, with the exception of technical system and/or error messages related to the report letter service selected upon registration,

8. Service Provider shall make every effort that may be expected of it for the safekeeping of the data, but shall not accept responsibility for the damage, destruction or disclosure to an unauthorized party of the data owing to technical faults, natural disasters, acts of terrorism or crime.

9. Service Provider shall make every effort that may be expected of it, to ensure that access to its pages shall be uninterrupted and error-free, but shall not accept liability for any errors that may cause the inappropriate operation and/or data loss of the pages.
